John Paul Construction commissioned us to create a branded surround for a crane located at the Central Bank in Dublin city center. The goal was to provide a visually impactful branding solution that integrated seamlessly with the crane hoarding system, enhancing the site’s appearance while maintaining safety and compliance standards. The client initially requested Dibond panels mounted on an anti-climb frame.
Site Limitations: The location within a busy city center required careful planning for installation, safety, and minimal disruption.
Structural Constraints: Surveying revealed that attaching Dibond directly to the anti-climb frame could compromise the system, potentially causing damage or safety issues.
Visual Requirements: The solution needed to deliver a high-quality branded appearance that would be visually striking from street level.
Durability: Materials had to withstand outdoor weather conditions and remain secure for the duration of the project.
Alternative Material Approach: After surveying the site, we recommended using PVC banners with reinforced hemming and eyeletting, pulled tight to create a smooth, professional look. This method avoided any risk to the anti-climb frame while achieving the desired visual impact.
Finishing Touches: To enhance aesthetics and maintain the premium feel, we incorporated Dibond corners and Dibond kickers, providing clean edges and additional structural support.
Installation Excellence: Our team ensured the banners were securely tensioned and correctly aligned, achieving a polished, professional finish that met client expectations without compromising safety or the integrity of the crane hoarding system.
